The Leaving Certificate class was given the opportunity to visit the Higher Options Careers Conference in the RDS in Dublin on Wednesday 19th September. The Irish Times Higher Options Conference is the biggest of its kind in Ireland and for over two decades has been helping Irish students to make decisions about their study and career options.

The event, which has the sanction of the Department of Education, offered students the unique opportunity to meet directly with representatives from universities, colleges and education institutions from Ireland, the UK, Europe and beyond.

Our Leaving Certificate students have come away from the conference with increased motivation and aspiration for the year ahead. The early start and long journey was worth the chance to explore options after Leaving Cert in Desmond College!
