On Saturday 5th Feb 2011 in the cold and miserable conditions, Desmond College took on Doon in the Munster Camogie final.

2010 – 2011

After an outstanding display of heart, skill and determination against a disappointed Hospital side in the semi-final, the girls were confident that they would perform in the final.  There was no doubt about it but the girls did perform but unfortunately it was not to be.

Doon proved too strong in the end.  However our girls did not give in and played their hearts out until the final whistle.  We had a number of outstanding individual performances on the day but overall it was a truly inspiring team effort.  They did both their school and management team (M Nash, M Corkery, M Ryan, S O Kelly and C Hennessy) very proud.

Deborah Murphy and Orlaith Condon took the Player of the Championship and Player of the Match.
